Crouch ruled out of Irons clash

Stoke City will be without Peter Crouch and Phil Bardsley for the Hammers visit.

Both have to serve out suspensions following their offences in last night’s 3-2 Capital One Cup defeat to Southampton. 

Crouch was dismissed by referee Lee Mason in the 88th minute following his second yellow card of the game, whilst Bardsley had earlier picked up his fifth caution of the season. 

Sam alone must make Sakho decision

Big Sam will know how desperate Diafra Sakho will be to play at Stoke on Saturday but he musn’t – nor do I believe he will – allow the player to make the decision on whether he starts.
