Samuelsen back in action tonight

martin-samuelsen-west-hamWest Ham have fielded a team of near unknowns for their friendly at Billericay Town this evening with Martin Samuelsen the only recognisable face on view.

Meanwhile Steve Potts’ under 18s are involved in a match against Hornchurch under 18s which sees son of a famous father, Pip Yakabu – who is on trial with the club – getting a chance  to go through his paces.

Jannai Gordon – who joined the club during Sam Allardyce’s time – is also involved with the under 18s as the Irons complete their buildup to the new season.

Norwegian Samuelsen has been in hospital for an operation on his throat after suffering breathing problems and it is good to see him back in action.

Both Paul Konchesky and Jermaine Pennant are both involved in the Billericay Town side.
