AC injury update

|

andy-carroll-west-ham-arsenal_3445626Andy Carroll is unlikely to be back for the match at the Hawthorns on September 17.

Some reports have declared the big man will be back in the squad by that date but club insiders believe that to be optimistic.

The well respected website which charts Premier League injuries – PhysioRoom.com  – has AC down as likely to be back on that date but whilst he is recovering well from a knee injury, the game is set to come too early for him.

ClaretandHugh was told: “It will probably be a week later than that but the medial staff are always cautious so it really is a suck it and see thing.

“We are in a different place now anyway with Simone Zaza fit and ready to go whilst Ashley Fletcher too is looking a very good prospect indeed.

We also have Jonathon Callieri  so the competition will become pretty intense when AC does return. “

Who cares anymore? He’s not been relevant to West Ham for some time now. Should simply release him

I have to admit I’m kinda the same Urbun. Its like yeah whatever.I have gone past the point of caring too much. Its only one false dawn after another.

I for one am really looking forward to the 4 matches he will play before the next injury. He could make a big difference in those games

Sakho , zara , calamari, the lad fletcher , . I don’t think it matters anymore if he’s fit or not this year !
Its just a bonus to choose him from time to time when fit ! If needed , he’s a bit part and that’s it really , all be it an expensive one ! He will score goals though 🙂

Lol matte. His fan club must be getting very excited. They can tell us all how is is the best header of a ball in world football but we must give him half a dozen games to get his fitness back to be a beast 🙂

He’ll come back for 4 games then he’ll realise its nears Christmas then have a accident while leaning over to feed the coy carp or scald his head while using this missus’s hair tongs. He’ll return with a trumpet fanfare in the new year only to realise that the annual trip to Dubai doesn’t happen anymore and will pick up another little niggle after dropping a garlic mushroom on his foot at El Trappotia Italian Restaurant and be out for a another 2 months. He will return in May and DG will tell us that he can be our 20 goals a season striker for 2017/18 after a full pre- season of training and then get injured by a one armed bandit in a Las Vegas Casino on his summer hols and all the time this happens there will be those that tell us hes unplayable on his day and that he scored against Arsenal 😉

Great when fit but when o when is he? How many more times must we stand for it? Got nothing against the lad but i really hope our new lad hits the floor running and Fletcher is persevered with then we don’t all have to wait for Andy to get fit. Quite honestly i’m a bit sick of it all now. Every season the same. Think we may have to bite the bullet and jog him on. Sad for him but it’s all about the club. Ain’t it?

We paid the £15m fee and wages for some time , we are unlikely to get a sensible sell on fee as he’s well known to be injury prone . From what I’ve seen when he gets fit he accepts he has to fight for his place and works hard when he comes off the bench – he actually puts himself about at both ends of the pitch and when he’s fully fit ( and gets a start ) his effort in games is very good . I believe he genuinely really likes playing at West Ham and he CAN SCORE GOALS – no doubts there – defenders really do not like a fit and aggressive AC . We now have ( potentially ) superb options : Ayew , Zaza , Callieri , Feghouli , Sakho ( get him fit , give him support from the terraces and management and board and really wanting to play and score for WHU and we have a SUPERB £16-20m top striker !! ) and the hugely potent Ashley Fletcher PLUS sometimes a fit , aggressive Andy Carrol – that my friends is a top 4 attacking / striking set of front runners !!!
I haven’t even included wide men Antonio and Lanzini
    AND
” WEVE GOT PAYET – DIMITRI PAYET – I JUST DONT THINK YOU UNDERSTAND ” Well done the Board and Management .
    Persevere with Andy please .
