Advice to the West Ham board

Gold sullivan BradyPoor results on the pitch for West Ham have led to an inevitable return of anti- board feelings and London Stadium discontent.

Much good work was done by the club last season to fix new stadium teething issues and atmosphere but a toxic atmosphere and a winter of discontent is once again returning.

The same can be said about the board with David Sullivan staying away from the press, Jack Sullivan not revealing information on social media and both Karren Brady and David Gold limiting their interaction with fans on Twitter.

In recent days since the appointment of David Moyes, David Sullivan has broken his silence and spoken to the Sun calling the change of management a gamble, David Gold has pleaded with West Ham fans to get behind the manager while Brady has been trolled online for her Apprentice tweets and Sun newspaper diaries.

Here is my advice to the board for what it is worth:

  1. David Sullivan should refrain from giving interviews and speaking to the press for the remainder of the season.
  2. David Gold should come off Twitter.
  3. Karren Brady should give up her football diary in the Sun newspaper.
  4. The board should publicly admit to fans that some statements about the Stadium move, reaching the next level and Champions League football were overly ambitious.
  5. The board should let the manager do the talking and allow him to do his job without interference.
  6.  Appoint a West Ham fan to the board as a non-executive director to champion supporters.

  1. Wishful thinking basil lol, 64 pointed out the times demolishing job of these amateur people with lots of money they don’t like spending ? Everyone and everyone detest these people with a vengeance , and its self explanatory if you’re a westham supporter and follow football in general ! This whole farce will get completely out of hand if Moyes doesn’t get a bit of luck in his quest !! He can change things on the park hopefully , will he get money ? Who knows , but one thing is a definate and that is this board will never change its spots , they can keep quiet on twitter and the like but behind the scenes nothing will change , they don’t know how to imo. Add to all that the running track ? Big doodoo times may be ahead as you say , maybe its needed to move on if that’s possible lol.😟

  2. Sean ??

  3. I agree that those media statements are unneccessary, Who wants to hear them? Certainly not West Ham fans. We know all we need to know about West Ham, For some reason best known to themselves, our board continue to send out those daft messages, Leet our new manager get on with his job, Its hard enough a job without the chairman bleating on a bout how much of a gamble it is. Moyes hasn’t had time to sit behind his desk and the undermining has begun already. This seems something that the board can’t help themselves on. They continually make statements that offer NO HELP whatsoever to the manager.

  4. I think this site’s been hacked.

  5. I don’t personally agree with the first three, to me that would make all three shrinking violets, why should they do anything differently, none of them have done anything particularly wrong this season, you can’t back down to the axe grinders for a minute, you have to rise above that which they seem to do even in the face of imho some disgusting character assasinations. 4,5 & 6 though all look good to me 🙂

  6. Pansy’s ! 32 !! 😂 12456 makes sence given the bull💩 they peddled !
3 ! I read nothing she writes so , totally irrelevant what the spud writes ! She is nothing , knows nothing , and fools nobody with her probable sugar inspired baroness steal from the poor and keep award ! Waynetta slob all day long for me 😂

    • lol, I just don’t get why anyone is bothered by what they say, they do a pretty decent job, if she wants to say she admires what the Spuds have done, it’s hard to disagree unfortunately much as I hate them I look at the way they have progressed and it is by putting their hand in their pocket and employing the right people. I think our chairmen want to do that they just haven’t figured it out yet and haven’t hired the right manager. I wouldn’t put many of the names we were linked with in that group either, Ancelotti is a laid back character, Hiddink works with what he’s got. Dyche maybe but probably not and the football would be horrible, they need to find someone with more drive than you could find on an F1 grid, that only accounts for about 5% of the population and probably considerably less than that in available managers.

  7. owners not talk to media.
    this place would be quieter

  8. Maybe you should have added another, that being that this site would stop with the constant no news articles, polls, and anything else you care to mention. Headlines like our ‘Fan’ sites spread over the internet serve no purpose other than to make us look ecen worse if that is at all possible. So Sean heal thine own self preacher.
