Allardyce/Nolan reunion looks on

|

AllarnolanSam Allardyce is believed close to taking Kevin Nolan to Sunderland even though the scouser has been abused like no other down the years by Black Cats fans.

Nolan grabbed a hat-trick for Newcastle  in a 5-1 derby back in 2010 and Nolan  has taken pleasure in ‘extracting it’ from Black Cats fans ever since.

Nolan has trained with Leyton Orient in recent weeks and there’s barely anybody who knows about the relationship between the pair who wouldn’t expect the move to take place.

He would be interested in joining Sunderland if Allardyce wants him back in the North East, although both men are aware a move will not be universally welcomed on Wearside.

ClaretandHugh understands that Nolan is also on Brighton and Hove Albion’s wanted list and that he wouldn’t mind remaining in the south but the Allardyce ‘pull’ may well clinch things in Sunderland’s favour.

    right 1 this time!
well if true i can’t see him doing many chicken dances up there, but heyho if the money’s good…

I honestly cant see him keeping them up.. If he maintains his career average of 32% wins they wont gain enough points.. adding Kevin Nolan is not going to help, he’s fast as a traffic cone these days

Cant wait for the home game against them next year — He is going to get a right going over from the fans 😀

Hahha,i thought you would like this article Rugby. But on this occasion i am entirely with you.It is laughable & i feel sorry for Sunderland if Nolan ends up there. He is well past his sell by date for the Premier League.Cue the Curtis third-raters turning up in January as well 😉

Think they could be getting both the so called saviours four or five years to late.Nolan is clearly well past his best & shouldnt be anywhere near a Prem first team bless him.As for Hippohead, even he is past it i believe.Think he is going to get found out for what he is with this job,a one trick pony who has had his day!!

Sunderland had better move fast before someone else snaps Nolan up and they need to make a top offer to win the bidding war. Say, well, err, a five year contract at £75k per week – that should do it. Maybe he would like AC too, a snip at £18m.

Sam will take them down but I am sure he has his excuses ready.

I thought Nolan was settled and happy in the south, his boy being a cockney West Ham supporter and all that. He didn’t choose to leave. It was that or sit on the bench for the rest of his career. He will get a respectful reception from me if he comes back to our place.

They are a partnership and it was always on the cards,
    AC not sure,
If we can get our money back and bring in another player that can offer something different then Sakho go for it,but if we are left with only Jelavic as cover keep him until the right player comes along,
Sorry Sunderland Fans no football fan deserves to watch the sort of rubbish we have for 4 years it seemed like a life sentence

Is the Allardyce Excuse book by the same publisher as Bob Monkhouse jokes?
