An excited Mike on Monday

Yes it’s the close season and in West Ham’s case that’s probably cause for excitement enough after the campaign we suffered.

But our favourite Hammers funny man Mike Manera is even more than excited with the Pellegrini appointment seemingly just a few hours away.

He’s equally pleased that his arrival will bring the Hammers Manuel count up to two which is about par for the course in the Premier League.

The Chilean was Mike’s first choice for the job ahead of Mr Benitez and he believes that his regular foe over the last few months David Sullivan will have done a great job of he gets this one over the line and that we should all get off his back for now and enjoy.

“Time” he says “to draw a line under that” and instead celebrate either the fact that fan power may have done its job or that the co chairman has accepted that perhaps he’s not as good at running everything in a football club as he thought he was.

Sit back and enjoy the irrepressible Mr Manera in relaxed and happy early summer mode.

  1. Next Avram Grant.

  2. Next Pellegrinosaurus.

  3. West Ham to win the league of course !!!

Definitely with you on Bill Hicks dies way to young !!!

On that subject how many great comedians were sons of preachers or clergy ?

  4. Quite right Hugh Mike and me very happy much better coach and tactics than fat rafa although he is a good coach but rather pelligrini any day. Now we all wait for the ins and outs this summer and Spain or France to win the world cup and our season to become one of our best since slavs first one.
