Andy Carroll confirms Operation tomorrow

Andy Carroll has officially confirmed this evening he will undergo an operation tomorrow and will miss the start of the season again. Speaking on twitter he said “Going under the knife tomorrow morning and absolutely devastated to be missing the start of the season!!”

Earlier in the evening Jack Sullivan relaying messages from Joint Chairman David Sullivan revealed Carroll had torn ligaments in his ankle, would have an operation with a top surgeon in America and would be out for four months
