“We have permission off Ghana,” Bruce said.

“Jordan is available – we are just waiting to hear about Jonathan.”

Jordan Ayew has scored twice in 21 Championship matches for Villa, who currently sit 10th on the league.

Ghana squad list for the tournament will be announced by former Hammers boss Avram Grant on Sunday. The team have a 12-day camping in the UAE before flying off to the finals in Gabon.  The Black Stars will face Egypt, Uganda and Mali in Group D.
