It was very reassuring to learn that Slaven Bilic will be watching those players on his priority list at the Euro 201 Finals.
For days we have been told that any number of previously unheard of strikers, midfielders and defenders could be on their way to the club plus of course …Gokham Tore!!!
It’s par for the course at this time of the year for such stuff to be contantly doing the rounds but with a major tournament in front of us why wouldn’t Slav be looking at the very best players aroundbefore making big decisions?
We were told categorically yesterday evening that all his big targets are involved in the competition and any that aren’t would be very low on his priorty list.
Frankly it’s enough for me at the moment to know that is the case and entirely as I expected when we reported people inside the club as saying “no dealings are likely to be done before the tournament.”
Be encouraged Slav is on the case and in Slav we trust!

Bit of a shame. I mean, if I supported another club, I’d want my manager to be looking at Cresswell, Noble, Antonio…
Also, I’d rather we bought players before they have a great tournament…
Please note: I don’t actually believe that he’s only looking at players going to the tournament. I think the club have been unsuccessful in their initial approaches (fair enough).

Well none of us know who his ‘big targets’ are so how the f@ck do we not know they are playing at the euros I’m sure he has many irons in the fire but none of us know his main one ain’t at the tournament.Unless Bradley has confirmed it.He is the main man to be trusted obviously.
Abbsolute nonsense that he’s only looking at Euro 2016 players – that rules out any South Americans for a start and would risk missing out on any unearthed gems such as Lanzini, Payet, Ant etc. Also, by waiting for the end of the Euros, any player that has a good tournament will have £m’s added to their price tag.

The headline and tone of the article imply this though Antman – it is tabloid style writing. And sentences like “We were told categorically yesterday evening that all his big targets are involved in the competition and any that aren’t would be very low on his priorty list.” only serve to underline the main thrust of the piece.
Strange then that Tore is a priority and he has not been chosen for the Turkish 23 for the Euros.
