Bilic confirms ‘one out, one in’ transfer policy

BilicSlaven Bilic has confirmed the ‘One out, one in’ policy for the remainder of the summer transfer window.

Speaking on WHUFC.com yesterday evening he said “Now, something else can happen, if someone goes then someone will come in, but the majority of the team and squad are set. It’s exactly what I said at the end of last season – we didn’t need squad players unless someone goes out, then someone comes in. We needed players who are going to improve our game and our first eleven, by that I mean our first 14, 15 or 16 players who are there, and these four players are exactly that.”

On Monday West Ham Co-Chairman David Gold thanked Slaven, Sullivan, Henry and Pitcher for their work over the transfer window saying on twitter:

“A great window. A big thank you to David Sullivan, Slaven Bilic, Tony Henri, Andrew Pincher and the team. dg”

And David Sullivan also managed expectations of future big name signing in his Talksport interview yesterday by adding:

“We hopefully may still buy one or two young players, one or two investments for the future and rejuggle the pack a bit more. All the time we are trying to do what is best for the club.”
