The player Bilic would love to sign

ToreSlaven Bilic has revealed  he tried to sign Beşiktaş winger Gökhan Töre at the start of the season.

In an interview with the Socrates magazine Bilic declared himself  a big fan of the Turkish international winger and that he would love to see him at West Ham.

He said: “Gökhan is a legend he is a top guy and a great player of course I would love to have him in the team,” Bilic said. “I tried to sign him at the start of the season but it was not the right time.

Bilic coached Töre for two years during his time at Beşiktaş over the past two seasons. The 23-year-old has five assists and a goal in seven league games this season – the highest assist record in the league.
