Bookies refuse odds for midfielder to join Hammers

badou-ndiaye-osmanlispor_136wpsr4gi8wx1sojqrh9x1y07Bookies Sky Bet, William Hill and Bet Victor have refused to take bets on Badou N’Diaye joining West Ham this summer.  Claret and Hugh asked each of the bookmakers to give odds on the midfielder becoming a Hammer but each in turn politely declined.

Yesterday morning club sources admitted they were looking at the Senegal international midfielder who plays alongside Cheikhou Kouyate and Diafra Sakho. at international level.

ClaretandHugh’s senior source explained: We like him and we and we do need a midfielder.”

The source added however that players would need to be sold in order to keep the squad number to within twenty-five limit whilst remaining conscious of the wage cap. The Hammers are ready to pay the asking price of around£8.5million for N’Diaye, who plays his football for Osmanlispor.

Brighton are thought to be interested in Robert Snodgrass for around £8m but there is claimed to be interest from Newcastle, Norwich and Leeds. Meanwhile, Galatasaray remains interested in Sofiane Feghouli for for an improved offer of £4.5m.

  1. We are still waiting for the Hernandez signature in the meantime .

  2. Well he aint having his medical until tomorrow Kev.Unless you want to volunteer to do it today to speed things up 😁

  3. More a power house and potential goal scorer, than a creator, but I wouldn’t say no.

  4. This could happen, kouyate is out till Aug /sept at best !! Get shot of snods and fegouli and get a winger in to back up the unfit Antonio ? And replace group captain hobble with Cullen or Fernandez 🙂 🙂 don’t panic Kevin the pea is coming lol.

    • Group captain hobble lmao
It was his hernias gave him the hobble. He is going to be a greyhound this season dont ya think 🙂

      • Yes gas , his new nickname is whippet 🙂 he now does pirouettes so fast now you don’t see the sideways /backward pass , its a blur 🙂

        • You are heading for a lecture about Nobes i think Laz,i can feel it now.Stats will be flying at you about his pass % over 5 yrds,15 yrds & 30 yrds.Theres always a statto somewhere ready to pounce😀

          • 🙂 🙂 they will come at me in spitfires rads 🙂 wearing peoples judean front beards 🙂

  5. Kouyate must have had some input i suspect. So i should think he said positive things about the chap.

  6. A question for somebody. With Snodgrass waiting for his taxi, who apart from Noble is going to take the free kicks? A decent free kick taker is worth a few points over the season. While I don’t share the low opinion of Noble of a number of you my heart does sink when he steps up to take those 25 yarders that He Who Cannot Be Named used to ping over the wall into the top corner.

    • It will be Lanzini, but Arnautovic also has dead ball skills.
As for left footers, both Cresswell and Carroll have been known to stroke a good still ball.

  7. Lanzini will wont he hammer64…i dont have a low opinion of Noble the west ham man…i do however have a lowering estimation of him as a player..my eyes are telling me he is on the wane and i see no problem in saying that..

  8. No that’s fair enough James. No problem with honest diferences of opinion. I think we may see an improvement if he is fully fit, but I ‘m willing to be proved wrong. But don’t think I will change my opinion on his free kicks! Yeah Lanzini for those. Guess you are right, but has he scored any goal from them? My memory is not what it was..

    • No ones being dis-respectfull 64! Just taking the pee out of the obvious 🙂 but he could turn into a Nolan hate figure if he continues to be first choice , a fantastic servant but IMO # 16 you’re time is up .I would love to be 100 % wrong but the eyes don’t lie mate 🙂
Disrespect is what this club done to mooro , nuff said on that one 🙂

  9. Must admit that Noble is not as quick as he used to be ( that wasn’t particularly quick anyway ) but he gives it his all and without his high work rate 11th could have been lower . With our recent signings and the talent coming into the squad I reckon our 💯 mph mad football will slow a little . A bit more passing around looking for openings ect ect seems on the cards .
That would suit Noble in his slower years and give him more play options IMO .
I wouldn’t write him off just yet .

  10. Would rather have Wilshere

  11. I have never seen this fella so until i do i cant compare him with Wilshere….

  12. Well, Wilshere is always injured…

  13. I’ve read other club’s fan sites & some are still tipping us for relegation & we haven’t signed anyone who will make us stronger. But then again, there have been a few comments on another WHU site that are still negative . Me…? I am looking forward to the seasons start
The only thing wrong in my book is we paid too much for marko but fees on all transfers have become ridiculous. The new tv deal hasn’t helped clubs buy better players it has just pushed the asking price up. Another £10m has been added

    • Negative fans on another site Essex, can i have a £10 bet at 100/1 on guessing which one 😁

  14. Bookies have us as fifth highest to go down making four teams worse. Which means we stay up. I think they have got it well wrong i see top 10 spot just.
Starting with 3 away games and our xmas list dont help.

  15. Badou is explosive on the ball great getting fwd and has a lovely shot on him. I would have him over Wilshere. If he can brinf the same form he has over here he would had some attacking threat to our CM Line up. And I agree with James Novle I slowing down. This kid is fast and great dribbler and good taking on players. Beside Obiang he would most lilkley do well. And he can operate further up.
If we don’t get a CB Kouyate could aslo end up covering in the back if Reid and Ogbonna fair in injuries like they have and we play back 3
