CandH poll: Do fans think Jack’s the Lad?

Hammers fans have given a big thumbs up to the prospect of signing Jack Wilshere.

The free agent appears to be on his way across London from Arsenal to what  at one time was considered a pretty controversial mix of opinions from Irons supporters.

His injury issues and images of him caught smoking by a perhaps over vigilant media didn’t help his cause but it seems that Manuel Pellegrini is a fan.

And it now seems pretty certain the 26 year old midfielder will be debuting at his boyhood club next season if all goes “well.”

Given the seeming mixed emotions from the fans the latest ClaretandHugh poll asked a very simple question a couple of hours ago and already around 1500 of you have voted.

And the latest count shows that 1,139, or 77.69 per cent of those polled, will be pleased to see him in the claret and blue.

Just 327 (22.31 per cent) aren’t keen having given him a “no” vote.

  1. So slow and overrated free fee nothing’s free in the world that’s good only the air you breathe. 100g a week is a joke and we don’t learn got Carroll still drawing that for years. One year deal at most until Manu is back different class and pacy

    • The page is showing as not found now Crewe hopefully he has signed and on his way to airport to Swiss training camp COYI !!!

  2. 15m is peanuts in this day and age ,its not even a gamble ….if he recaptures his form and maintains his fitness he is a 35/40m pound player and easily in the best 5 english midfielders in the country

  3. This is a good deal. Even if he only manages 25-30 games a year, his quality is well worth the money. He could have gone elsewhere for more pay (Fernerbahce), so let’s get behind him if he signs and make him great again. He is one of ours!!
