Less than one per cent of Irons fans voting in a ClaretandHugh poll believe the team will finish lower than 12th position this season.
A total of 1242 cast their votes in the poll which asked fans to give their club’s finishing position this season.
A total of 3.95 per cent (49 voters) believe we will end up in the top four whilst a sizeable 23.19 pc (288) reckon a top six finish is on.
Over half the voters – 52.17 (648 ) believe we will end up in the op eight and 17.63 pc (219) see us finishing in the top dozen.
Just 28 voters (2.25 pc) see us in the top 12, 0.48 per cent (six votes) 12th or lower and four happy souls (0.32 pc) reckon we will be relegated.

I don’t think that it’s so much that four voters are suffering terminal depression, i think it’s more that are suffering Spurs supportage & came to throw fecal matter. Half have taken the safe option, we’ll hover around where we are, not move up, not move down. A perfectly normal human response, i’d rather not be wrong, but almost a quarter of us see us vying for Europe, which given the return of vital players reflects a positive outlook & is more than reasonable. Forty nine voters including myself are true believers & subscribe to what JFK once said, “Some people ask why. I ask, why not?”
