Winston Reid is back from injury and Slaven Bilic is optimistic he may play against Everton on Saturday.
Speaking at his presser this morning he declared: “Winston Reid is good. He is back from injury and it’s good for us, of course. He’s one of our most important players.
“We will see if he is going to start but he’s been training throughout this week and in his rehabilitation programme, of course he did some individual training but he looks good, as I said. It’s a big boost for us.”
But he will be without Sam Byram after the right back picked up two yellow cards and subsequently a red against Sunderland.
The full-back misses out through suspension and Andy Carroll is ruled out with Bilic saying: “He will probably be fit for our next game, but for this game, no.”
He claimed Diafra Sakho had returned to training today with the manager saying: ““Diafra is supposed to train today, and we will see what condition he is in after.”
