AC himself has dubbed it the best he’s ever scored and good judges everywhere have gone entirely overboard about it.
However, even if it’s to become the goal of the season it will need to fend off strong competition from Olivier Giroud’s and Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s ‘scorpion’ goals this months.

As much as I hate to admit it, the fat frog’s against Middlesbrough was stunning, just for leaving defenders on their arse. Incidentally no one player celebrated with Payet for that goal. And that still lost to a Boro player who ran length of the pitch without being challenged.

Best overhead bicycle kick I’ve ever seen without a doubt. Second only to dicanio scissor kick. Think dean Ashton scored one similar but this was better.
You see loads of Best Goals from the premiership programmes and DiCanios is always #1. So you must compare it with that. I think it’s as good as so for me we have the best 2 goals ever scored in the Premiership!! Rooneys overhead kick v ManC also always feature but Carrols was better than that as Rooney looped in over Hart whereas Carroll was hit perfect like a rocket.
