Chicharito in tears again

Tears rolled down Hammer Javier Hernandez’s cheeks again in Russia as he belted out the Mexico national anthem before he faced Sweden.

Chicharito has been one of the most prominent players of the Mexico side for many years. Chicharito is just one goal away from seizing the Mexico World Cup record.

“After the final whistle I celebrated it the way that I am, like someone emotional,” Hernández said after staving off the defending champions, Germany, 1-0 in their opening match. “I was the one who cried the most.” Mexico, which have not advanced past the round of 16 at the World Cup since 1990.

Hernandez faces Brazil on July 2nd so we are likely to see more tears of joy or sadness on Monday.
