West Ham striker Javier Hernandez has denied suggestions that the Mexico squad were joined by escorts at his 30th birthday party following their friendly win over Scotland. The El Tri squad gathered to celebrate their 1-0 victory over Alex McLeish’s side in Mexico City last week, but local reports in the country alleged the festivities lasted 24 hours and involved more than 30 escort girls.
Hernandez addressed the speculation on a Facebook Live video run by the national team’s official page, insisting that the team had joined together for his 30th birthday.
“It’s a topic that I’ve wanted to talk about,” Hernandez said.
“There are a lot of things that are tiring. The truth is that it was a gathering to celebrate my birthday.
“They gave us the night off and the day off and we left the next day and that’s what we did. They organised it for me and I invited all the players to come.
“They all came apart from Jesus Corona, the goalkeeper, because he had a personal issue and he apologised to me and all the squad. We ate together and then afterwards a lot of people arrived and every player left at the time they wanted to.
“Another thing that makes me embarrassed and laugh and that I have to talk about now it comes to mind is that there were never escorts or anything similar. That shows a lack of respect for the people that were there.”

At first glance I thought this said chicherito had put an escort girl to bed. Then I thought it was a picture of him with the escort girl he had put to bed. Turns out I was wrong. So who is the woman in picture then? Must be his wag. I’m sure shes chuffed to bits with this story.
If it had been true, potentially embarrassing for his relationship but otherwise so what? Are we that prudish in the 21st century?
