Costa escapes punishment

costaChelsea striker Diego Costa has escaped punishment after striking Aaron Cresswell during last night’s game against West Ham.

Costa, was not punished as it appears the 26-year-old striker escaped the attention of referee Andre Marriner, who failed to include any mention of it in the match official’s report .

Jedinak is currently serving a four-match suspension after the Palace midfielder accepted a charge of violent conduct. Jedinak was retrospectively punished by the FA for striking West Ham’s Diafra Sakho in the face.

  1. Why will he escape when the Palace,s Jedinak got caught afterwards, the Cheski players get away with murder because the refs are frightened of Marinio and he gets away with murder just as Ferguson did.

  2. If the ref didn’t see the incident and didn’t mention it in his report then that is exactly when the FA can bring charges. If the ref saw it and dealt with it (or not) at the time then the FA will do nothing. The ref and officials were so poor against Chelsea that if I didn’t know better I would suspect a real bias towards Chelsea……….Lets hope the FA are better
