Cresswell and boys flying ahead of City

|

CresswesthAaron Cresswell’s £3.5 million move to the Irons has been another transfer market master stroke as the Hammers go from strength to strength.

But the former Ipswich Town defender – whose fee could rise to £7 million on appearances  is refusing to allow his expectations to become over-hyped.

But like everybody associated with the club he’s seriously looking forward to the first top four Boleyn clash un many years this weekend.

Speaking to the official site he declared: “Man City are one of the best teams in the Premier League, but we’re going to go into that game full of confidence, flying and looking forward to it.

“We’ve played eight games, got 13 points, if we keep that sort of form there’s no reason why we can’t make the top ten. I think that’s realistically a good achievement for us, anywhere in the top ten.

“On and off the pitch it’s going well for me down here. The main thing for me was to get my head down, work hard and hopefully try to stay in the team as long as I can.”

Yeh, like Cresswell he seems to be growing better each game, got back quicker against Burnley, and used his strength well.Marking Boyd as well as getting forward proved awkward but i was impressed. As for Jenkinson i am just as impressed with, great cross saturday for Valencia, measured perfectly.Just a shame he’s not our player.
