Cresswell linked with Man City £12m interest

cresswell-aaron-cresswell-west-ham-west-ham-v-tottenham_3192011Hammer of the year Aaron Cresswell has gain been linked with a move again to Manchester City.

Reports claim the club will offer £12 million although any move for the left back is almost certain to fail after the player signed a deal within the last couple of months.

It’s an old story which says City have scouted the 25-year-old for some time and could move for to meet their home grown players quota for this coming season.

However, we have been told, Cresswell is simply not for sale, a senior source has previously told us “It would take a huge offer to even tempt us as Ipswich also get a chunk if we ever sold on which really isn’t in our thinking.”

Cresswell put pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal with the Hammers less than a month ago. The 25-year-old left-back has committed  himself until 2020 with the option of two further years.

  1. It seems that none of the ” so called , big clubs ” have any respect . Cresswell has just signed a five year contract . Surely there should be a regulation that blocks any such attempts to destroy contracts at a whim .
Also it would be great to sign Austin , but at the price if loseing Jarvis doesn’t ring right with me . It’s not as if he is no longer useful , in fact he puts in a good shift ,,,, unlike Nolan , and dare I say , Noble . Don’t see the sense in letting a good winger go just to sign a Striker .
Strikers need wingers , it’s a fact of football .

  2. So the Arabs are only interested in signing him for his nationality and not for his playing ability. How disrespectful. I think even Cressie knows that he wouldn’t get a first team place.

  3. It’s not going to happen unless the pay £25 million or some other stupid amount,
I suppose we could agree to a swap Cresswell for De Silva and Agguero plus a couple of million,

  4. Haha,that would be a fair deal i believe bubs 😀
