West Ham Joint Chairman has hit back at TalkSport radio host Jason Cundy telling his twitter followers the former Chelsea player doesn’t know what he is talking about after the radio presenter suggested that Bilic ‘has been treated appallingly’ by the club.
Gold replied: “Cundy doesn’t know what he’s talking about, taking players on loan with a view to buy is a good way to do business. Lanzini worked Zaza didn’t”
Gold also warned supporters who said the club who complained the club is ran on a shoestring transfer budget “Leeds, Portsmouth, Bolton, Sheffield United, Coventry, QPR, and many more, all gambled and are no longer in the Premier League. dg”
He is also hit back at one fan who said Gold and Sullivan have final say on transfers and Bilic has none. Gold corrected the fan saying “You are I’ll informed Bill. dg”
Another said they would rather play in the Championship at the Boleyn Ground than the Premier League at the London Stadium to which Gold replied “Neil have you stoped taking your medication? dg”
