The point of this was??????
That Brooking was the obvious choice ! What I wished for from the off !! He wasn’t even asked ?? Why the fek not !!! It needed to come from within , Brooking was a perfect temp IMO and should be brought in still to help Moyes in the west ham philosophy !! Point him in the right direction !!! He’s a fit man for his age and could have done the job blind fold ??😉
Brooking said after his short spell that he found management to be highly stressful. He was by all account from the players he trained an amazing manager and technical coach but the stress of managing was too much.
If Moyes can get us around 40% win ratio we would be in Europa places every season, 40% would be 45.6 points just in wins not including draws and his draw % was close to 30% thats another 11.4 points so 57 points per season if he averages what slightly less than he did at Everton and you could argue we have a better team in many ways than he had there.
Bfs and Pardew both had spells in the Championship so their win ratios benefit. Brooking is the stand out, winning more games with a team that was relegated than Moyes did at Man U.! Brooking far too classy to work with the current board.moyes had a long period at Everton and the win ratio is decent. However in shorter periods where he has to use what’s available, far less effective. How good is our squad and will he get backed as a short term manager (and will players want to come).
