Masuaku may get his chance for Cresswell

Aaron Creswell may face the chop when the Hammers go into action against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

The left back’s very average season hot the depths at Bournemouth at the weekend when he was widely panned for his worst performance since arriving at the club.

Pundit Tony Gale was particularly scathing during a commentary claiming he’d had a seriously awful game and coming on the top of one or two other poor performances there is a question mark over the left back.

Back up left back Arthur Masuaku was red carded in a Premier League Division 2 match earlier in the week for an off the ball incident spotted by the linesman and there were fears a three match ban would follow him into the Premier League.

But that is not the case and he would be available for action tomorrow if Slav decides that Creswell requires a rest after a difficult season.

And that he was playing in the PL2 maytch against Newcastle suggests that he may well be in the manager’s thinking.
