DG waves farewell to striker

CCDavid Gold has waved a fond farewell to Carlton Cole.

The big striker wrote an emotional open letter to the fans yesterday declaring he would always carry the club in his heart.

The big striker leaves Upton Park after nine years during which he has scored 57 goals in 259 games.

And Gold speaking on Twitter said: ” Good luck Carlton in your future endeavours, it’s been a pleasure knowing you. dg”
