It looks like former Hammer Mo Diame will finally fulfil his dream of playing for a top six side but it will be in the Championship as Hull City battle to win promotion back to the Premier league at the first attempt.
A year ago this month the then Hammer Mo Diame told a french website ‘I don’t want to stop here, I still want more, Joining a club from the top six would be a dream come true.’
Diame joined West Ham from Wigan on a free transfer in 2012, playing 79 times and scoring 7 goals. In late August last year he signed for Hull City for a fee believed to be £3.5m.
Now Diame will have the delights of Rotherham United and Huddersfield town away next season.
More evidence that the Samarettes are right,be careful what you wish for!
Schadenfreude, you taste sooo goooood 🙂
My favourite German dessert lol
One small shining moment for Sam…got Mo on a free and sold for 3.5 million.
He won’t stay it will be same o same o,
He will sign for someone like Stoke,Everton or Newcastle.
And at 3 million he will look a bargain for 6 or 7 weeks then he will take the rest of the season off
Ha ha.Great comments bubs.Couldn’t agree more.
Diame is a perfect example of why players should just go if they want to leave without making dopey comments beforehand to try to get themselves a move or big their abilities up.Often life comes along & takes a massive bite out of your ass.Great transfer Mo,you got exactly what you wanted. Not!! 😉
