Don’t back Traore to join Irons!

Jack_Wilshere_warm_up_-_12_Feb_2014_(cropped)The nation’s bookies now appear convinced that Chelsea wide man Adama Traore will definitely NOT be joining West Ham this summer.

Reports had suggested the player – who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough – was bound for the London Stadium but Skybet have offered un-backable odds that he will instead be on his way to France and quote him at  1/10 him joining Lyon.

For the uninitiated that  means you have to put a £10 on to win £1 such is the firm’s certainty on his destination. The Irons are now given a 10/1 quote to get the player with Dortmund at 12/1.

Meanwhile the same bookie is offering 5/2 against Aaron Cresswell becoming a Liverpool player next season with the ‘rider’ that the price does not include returning on a loan following a permanent deal elsewhere.

Jack Wilshere gets a 2/1 quote against joining the Hammers and Chris Smalling is priced at 11/4 to join us despite the club telling ClaretandHugh it has no money for defenders.

  1. I think you will find he was on loan at a bigger club than Middlesbrough. (Ajax)

  2. I think you are getting your Traores muddled Hugh.Adama Traore is middlesboro and Bertrand Traore is Chelsea/Ajax.But as a member of my oldies club all is forgiven lol

  3. Embarrassing when you can’t even get the facts right

  4. Its difficult to take someone seriously called lemmiwinkz isnt it.

  5. OT I was at the LS (my first ever visit and so impressed)
last night as my Daughter and her boyfriend were to see Guns n Roses my wife and myself were to wait for them outside. now i dont know what its like on match days (i,m assumng the same) but on everyone coming out they had closed all the gates to the westfield center.
they will take your money on the way in but on the way out your not welcome but in this day and age on persons willing to blow themselves up in crowds of people this is something at some point could happen and no way as to stop them
i,m writing this to get some attention as someone on here has to be thinking the same thing. if you have a large amount of people herded like cattle in one direction only when the safest way is to let people leave in all different directions.
surely this a better solution and i dont know who this could be better addressed to than the people who matter and goto the games regular.
i must say the stadium staff and support members were excellent last night had time for everyone but something has to be said about this
sorry for the bad grammer but this is a point that has to be made
    thankyou Ray

  6. Only those that say nothing or do nothing are free of error . The problem is that those who say nothing or do nothing are the first to criticize those that do .
Our common goal must be the wellbeing of our club . Not , criticism of those who care .
Fans comments can both be Honest and brutal but , if they have the interest of the Club at heart , then I , for one don’t mind if those comments are at the very least constructive .
Non abative criticism is , Non Support .
We are having problems where sighning players is concerned . Do we blame the Board , the LS or the Manager , or all of it ??.
Some fans in my opinion need to wake up to the fact that West Ham is not a massive club but that we are trying to be . A Big Stadium does not a Big club make . It is down to us to make it happen . Support is paramount to our future ; not constant putting down .
Lesser players can be lions with the right backing .
Have patience, the signings will come . Good or not so good , it doesn’t matter .
    it so .

  7. Ambivalent about Traore. If he comes to us for not too much, fine because he has potential. If not, I’m not bothered.

Would much, much, much rather have Onyekuru.

    • Same Markro looks like a show pony, has pace and tricks but no end product and very few goals, Bilic doesn’t seem to be a manager that improves players so can’t see the value in signing him.

  8. Lol lemmiwinks is a classes gerbil in South Park isnt it.Never realised it was an Irons supporter 😂😂

  9. I do hope not or else here we go again quantity over quality ….will be about the same as the complete dross we brought in last season & more about £’s not club ambitions…
