Emery doubts grow after Europa League double

|

unai_emery_06052012West Ham’s chances of landing Unai Emery as their 15th manager appear to be fading after he led Sevilla to win the Europa League Final this evening beating Dnipro 3-2. Sevilla becomes the fist team to win the Europa League back to back since the competition was reformed. Sevilla have now won the Europa League four times in the last decade.

Emery steered Sevilla to fifth place in La Liga and they become the first club win a Champions League place which was introduced as a prize to the winners of the Europa league final this season.

When asked yesterday about a move away from Sevilla he answered ‘It’s very clear in my mind. My heart is 100 per cent Sevilla at the moment and I cannot think beyond that by winning that match tomorrow.’

He might just fancy winning it three years in a row lol

  • navajoHAMMER says:

So, we can scratch him off the list…

  • Robbie says:

    Another one bites the dust!

  • bubs says:

    That’s Emery,Bernitez and Biesla gone,
Now we are in competition with Sunderland,
Pick your man 2 Daves before we are left with the dross,
Don’t wait anymore go for Klopp or Bilic and sell the club to them and bring them own

  • Quickdraw is going loco says:

I hope we’re not in competition with Sunderland rumour had it that they’re after a stabilising no nonsense up and coming fella from Dudley who has loaded his trophy cabinet playing a unique style of football having the midfield as a decoy bypassing them to a tall solo forward. He always respects the point and clean sheets. Bubs be careful what you wish for lol

  • bubs says:

I said last week what I wish for has nothing to do with football or BFS,
My life is not that small,I had a nice surprise when BFS left and have come down to earth now,all I am saying is we need to go and get our man and the board need to make there mind up fast,

  • Quickdraw is going loco says:

I know where you stand bubs and we’re side by side on our hopes for our great club

  • TysonM says:

I know we need to grab someone, but to be fair to the board it is only 5 days ago the fat one left. Not two months. We need a little patience 😉

  • bubs says:

My only problem with that Tyson was last year when our board were looking for a bargain we lost some good players and we’re lucky to gat Sakho and Kouyate at the second bite,
Now Sunderland are trying to get Moyes, and if they do that will be a pisxer,
I liked Rafa and Biesla and they may have gone now just don’t want Bilic to end up at Sunderland and Emery at Napoli and Klopp at Liverpool,
But then we can get Di Cannio with Pottsy as a duo.

  • TysonM says:

Yeah all im saying is that it is only 5 days ago that the hippo left.We dont really know what agents or managers the board are talking to.Unless you use wpants, then they know exactly what is happening because they as fans have top secret sources, lol 😉
