Exciting Hernandez reported development

|

BigPEaItalian Journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims Javier Hernandez is now very close to joining West Ham.

He claims that unless there are last minutes twists he will wear the shirt of West Ham.

He says: “The Mexican striker born in 1988 is, therefore, preparing to say goodbye to Bayer Leverkusen after two seasons in which he scored 27 goals in 50 games.”

Adding “the English club is on the verge of completing the transfer for Chicharito , in a deal worth about 15 million euro. The signature and the official announcement could come in the next few hours.” he claims.

Yesterday German newspaper Sport Bild confirmed West Ham are in the running for Javier Hernandez.

Earlier today the Sun reported “West Ham have stepped up their attempts to land Javier Hernandez. The Hammers have made the Bayer Leverkusen striker their No1 target to bolster their attack and will pay his £13million release clause.Chicharito’s representatives have spoken to the Hammers over the 29-year-old returning to the Premier League two years after leaving Manchester United. The Little Pea is set for a whopping £145,000-a-week deal to lead the attack for Slaven Bilic.”

Love it hopefully he will chose the right aide of London and where Claret and Hugh. Think he will preplexes me why wait so long but guess it is the Sullivan way. Wither way making moves now.
I’d still planning on 2 striker which would be smart. I think Lucas Perez would be great and Compliant Little Pea. He is good at Holding up play, scoring and link up to create 7 goals and 8 assists in _11 starts and 21 or so apps. Not shabby.
And £25m for both of them and offer something different and same price as Marko would cost.
Know how I would spend my money.
Glad to see things are moving along.
Hope the Youngsters get a good go today

Also a # of sources saying willing to meet wage demand now hope its all true. Link Below

imo take what you hear from that site with a pinch of salt JRS occaisionally they do come up with some truthful bits but most of it is rehashed from any source available.

IF ITS TRUE that’s great business bringing in Zabba Hart and Chico for less than £20M of our transfer budget. I’m assuming we paid Zabba a signing on fee and paid a small loan fee for Hart and in addition to the £13M for Chico we paid something to him to keep his wages below £90k pw.

So £40M/50M to spend according to Sean’s figures. Arnie and Andre Gray I reckon. I’m on a roll here 😂😂

I am not sure John that if we sign Arnautovic we would sign Gray because they both occupy the same position left side of midfield/wing but you never know, of the two I would definitely prefer Arnautovic and if we can get him I think Slimani would be a good partner for Hernandez.

      • John says:

I thought Gray was a forward lol. Shows what I know.

        • Radai Lama says:

Dont worry John i thought Gray was an out and out striker as well 😉
Pls no bloody Slimani 32.He stinks,30mill of stench 😁

        • JRS says:

He is a striker John he can play inverted on LW bc Right footed but not main position. I would stick with Andre on LW and I like Marko but not for £25-£30m. Ayew 18 goals in season in Half 6 this past vs Makros 7 and 26 over 4 seasons.
His size is thrathening but very streky player.
And for 2nd striker I would take Perez over Gray at £12m he offer something different from Chicarito and the strikers we have now. Can hold up play very well and link up play too creating chances not fast but not slow and can score. 7 goals 8 assists in 11 starts 21 so apps isnt bad. And you could play him and Chic up front together and would compliant each other.

        • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

Yeah he has played as centre forward but usually he is stuck on the wing or comes in from the left either way for me he isn’t an out and out CF but you never know with Slav he might be picking him as a wing back 😉

  • danielson79 says:

Nothing wrong with a bit of competition for positions. We need pace so actually Gray would be a great signing. He’s strong and fast, imagine him and Antonio marauding down each wing.

Back on target… I hope we get this Hernandez deal over the line.

  • dannyboi85 says:

Think once Hernandez and Hart are over the line get a winger tadic/chadli/Arny then maybe another striker someone like Remy who can bang goals in too or maybe Gray underrated imo personally I would like to make a cheeky bid for Vardy or Slimani from Leicester

    • JRS says:

Agree I would like Slimani only scored 7 but didn’t get a lot of chances but they paid £30m so they will want a hefty fee. That’s why I like Perez who is actually you her only at 28 tho but at £12m he is very well roundes CF. Ability to hold up okay and link up would be great here. And he scored 7 as well and assisted 8 in limited time as well.

  • aykay says:

I’ll believe it when I see him in our shirt….if we manage to get it across the line I’ll be delighted …excellent signing

    • JRS says:

Well said Aykay, I agree I’ve said many times anything can happen until they slip on that Claret and Hugh Kit its not official. Just glad we are moving along now

  • markro says:

I wish folk would stop taking the pea…oh, hang on a minute!
