Exclusive: “Horrible” Hernandez bid stuttering on

Javier_-Chicharito-_Hernandez_vs_MLS_All_StarsWest Ham are in involved in “horrible” negotiations to bring Javier Hernandez to Upton Park.

The club have made the Manchester United striker their No1 transfer target – but the Old Trafford club are forcing negotiators to “go round in circles” as talks stutter on.

The Hammers upped their original £9 million bid by £3m yesterday, but United are refusing to budge on the player, insisting he’s not for sale.

But the Irons, led by Slaven Bilic, believe that if he was a real first-team contender, who would hardly have been an unused sub if he was wearing Claret and Blue (as he was against Spurs on the opening day of the season).

The Irons have been told it may be a different situation if United bring in a couple of strikers, but in the meantime he’s off limits.

ClaretandHugh was told exclusively by a highly placed course: “We are going around in circles with them. They say they won’t sell him but then discuss the offer.

“We intend to keep trying as he’s a big target for us. But at he moment we are going around in circles and, to be honest, it’s horrible.”

  1. Sounds horrible.

  2. We have not got the time to play there games and his price is going up,
We need to go after someone else and get him signed or bring in a stop gap cheap ho can cover Sakho until this pans out,
We need a strong big forward who can hold the ball up and cope by his self,
There are several around for £3 million around 25/27 years old who can be back up Magia is not up to it Lee does not play like that and Carroll is 4 games away and how long will he be around

  3. Are the Adeboyar and Rob Green deals still on? I’ll be bitterly disappointed if they are not, we have to be seen to be moving forward

    • I hope we don’t get Adebayor whambam, he usually is amazing for his first 3 or 4 games then completely anonymous. Rob Green would be an excellent signing though.

  4. When sellers know you want him and mess about – it’s time to move to another target. Man Utd have problems even bidding for Pedro so I guess they are just messing around.

  5. Jog him on, move for Moussa Sow. On average he scores every other game and I’m sure I read he only costs £12m. International team mate of Sakho and Kouyate it makes sense. Just f*cked when the Afcon comes round

  6. No to Adeboyar & why resign Green? Doesn’t make sense we have 2nd choice GK, he is a relegation specialist every club he has been at has been relegated.. been saying that we should sign Sow for the last 2 weeks. Hernandez would be a good signing but it’s dragging on too long.

    • Was joking Essex, I’ve got a c*nts sense of humour 😉

    • Rob Green has never been responsible for a team getting relegated his managers have though and it was a shocking decision he made to move to QPR, the season of our great escape he made numerous great performances when the players in front of him were a disgrace. He is a top quality keeper unlike Randolph who we could easilly rename Rudolph the red faced goalkeeper synonymous then with Christmas and like Rudolph’s name sake delivers presents every time he turns up. He is the Christian Dailly of goalkeepers…

  7. I would take Green back any day,he was excellant for QPR even with their **** defence, lol,Randolph is a bit suspect imo 😉

  8. Forget about Hernandez then. If Man U indeed get their new striker they will find themselves in an awkward situation with Hernandez still willing to leave, but maybe no other club available willing to pay the asking price.
We may hang around till transfer deadline day waiting for a Hernandez deal to happen, problem is there is no guarantee and we may end up with no one.
    Can we afford that ?

  9. We haven’t got time to be messing around. If we have 12 million to spend there are more than enough other options out there to ensure we get someone in quickly. I thought we would have a striker all tied up for the Leicester game. I am not even sure Hernandez would work with Sakho and I am sure he would command pretty high wages.

  10. The only one who never voices an opinion on our striker set-up is Bilic himself. If asked he will say he’d like one more but only a freebie/ loaner who fits in well with his philosophy.
So why is he so seemingly unfazed by the fact we can’t seem to sign one.
One answer could be that, as I have pointed out several times, his major concern has been to build a strong attack minded midfield and virtually all his efforts have been focussed on doing just that and not going after a big money striker.
I’ve no doubt if the owners are prepared to spend on one he’ll make use of him but I just can’t see it as a big priority in his plans.

  11. Bloody hell Canchaz,do you spend all your time ‘pointing out’ or saying ‘as i have said before’.Bilic at no point said he wanted a loanie or freebie. He said he would like a striker. He said it last week. How can you say if asked he will say a certain thing. Are you his speech maker?

    • Haha,Can,our resident wise owls powers are strengthning it seems. Before he could only see from the first day what Slavs philosphy was as he ‘points out’,but it seems now he can read Slavs mind & predict what he will say even before Slaven does. His talents know no bounds.Canchez,C&H mystic man 😀

  12. I’d rather we keep our sites on our primary target than some 2nd fiddle, last minute pick.
Hernandez would be amazing for us… Can you imagine a forward line of him and Sexpest with Payet feeding him?

  13. WBA have put Anchibee up for sale today last year he tore us a part he is big strong and would be cover for the 2 main forwards or even push to start and would not cost a fortune,
Negrado is available on loan so no cost front that would give us great options for this season and if we can get a price if he works out and wants to give England another chance would give us all the cover we need
Said it yesterday before mystic Bradders releases it in 3 days time
