FA charge Hammers

imageThe Irons and Everton have been charged by the FA for “failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion” during Saturday’s game in what has become dubbed the ‘Battle of Goodison Park.’

There was a melee after Everton’s James McCarthy tackled Morgan Amalfitano, with West Ham players confronting the Republic of Ireland international.

McCarthy and Winston Reid were booked were booked by the referee Mark Clattenburg.

The clubs have until 6pm on 1 December to respond to the charge.

  1. Oh the irony!
    So calamityburg fails to protect West Ham players from thuggish everton players and three horror tackles but the FA can charge the club for taking exception to it!?

    If amilfitano and noble weren’t so nearly seriously injured you could almost laugh about it!
    Can anybody else see the problem with this picture?
