Fan alliance publish 5,000 word letter from club

The West Ham Groups United have published a 5000-word letter from the club sent to them last Wednesday.

The full reply from West Ham Vice-Chairman Karren Brady can be here read here on KUMB.com

The letter confirms that the action group had previously met with co-owner David Sullivan for three and a half hours the week before the alliance met with Karren Brady and Tara Warren.

The letter makes a number of promises around history and heritage to be better reflected including displaying previous West Ham crests at the London Stadium.

The club says plans are being submitted and approved to rename the primary walkway to the London stadium ‘The West Ham Way’

They commit to finding a permanent location for a museum to house the large collection of memorabilia they hold.

On season ticket pricing, Brady confirms that season ticket prices will be frozen but band 5 season ticket holders will see a £31 increase from £289 unless they sign up for two years.

The fans alliance say they will get feedback from their group members before deciding whether to march or not.

KUMB.com said today: “And at a West Ham Groups United meeting on Monday evening, it was agreed that the open letter should be published via the coalition’s various channels so that individual members of each group could have their say in order to determine whether the club’s proposals were sufficient enough to satisfy supporter’s demands and lead to the march being postponed or cancelled.

  1. I have read the letter but can still find no mention of Pin Badge sellers being allowed around the stadium as well as other vendors who sell memorabilia etc., when are these people going to be accomodated as they were / are businesses that were impacted upon by the move.

    • Well I worked it out that we have made a profit of 9 million this season in transfers.-This against a background of our team fighting relegation. What mention of player investment,
Do they really expect the march to be called off because of a bit of waffle and a few minor promises.No-one believes a word they say any more.if the march was to be cancelled they would break even these small promises they have made.
SEE YOU ALL ON THE MARCH.

  2. ? Nothing mentioned about transfers and Money,s available and world class team in a world class stadium , blaming others for not bringing seats close to the pitch , its a very bradyesk letter IMO , nothing in it explains the real concerns about the team , transfers , finances , time scales etc etc etc ,
Complete waste of time IMHO !
The two year commitment up front for band 5 is just another reminder of just how short of investment cash these people are committing too after all the next level statements , the overall view I got was that nothing is going to change anytime soon ! Its all team unrelated ?
And what the march is about !!
Interesting to see what happens ! It has done nothing to support a rethink on the march , IMO its enhanced it lol!.

  3. I hear ya Laz ….there’s a famous old saying that springs to mind ” MONEY TALKS BULL**** WALKS ” ..
