Fans’ meeting with club: Read all about it!

london-stadium-fansFifteen fans – representing the Irons supporters base – were involved in a lively three hour meeting in front of a  panel consisting of Board members, senior staff members and representatives from London Stadium and the Metropolitan Police  on Wednesday evening. The fans were selected to take part from the hundreds who have provided feedback by an independent panel, the remit of which was to select a group representing the different areas of London Stadium and minority groups of supporters.

Such criteria as location in the stadium,  age, gender and whether they represent other key groups of supporters, for example Bondholders and disabled supporters were taken into account in the seletion process.

The meeting focused on the issues that have arisen since the move to Stratford in the summer, including stewarding, safety and security, segregation, transport, ingress and egress, policing, accessibility, migration and relocation, ticketing and Club London.

  1. Had a look at the minutes and cant work out why you did a petition about premium phone numbers when the club said there getting rid of them?

  2. This is really bugging you isnt it Just Saying. It is the second time you have just said that 😛

  3. In the meeting they said they would replace one kind of premium rate number 0871 with another 0844. My research is that 0844 will cost up to 40p per minute and is not included within most mobile phone call packages. I am surprised they included it in the minutes but my understanding is they will continue to use the premium rate company just with a slightly reduced rate. We are pushing for a geographical number such as a 0208 number which would be far cheaper for mobile users and free for many with call packages
