Financial bonanza for Irons at OT

Fletch1West Ham have landed something of a financial bonanza by getting Manchester United in the quarter finals of the EFL Cup.

Clubs take 45 per cent of the gate receipts and in our case with 74k plus possible at Old Trafford we can expect to reap around three quarters of a million plus the likliehood of TV cash which should push the proceeds to over a million.

And if the team can continue in it’s current form and with more striker options available they are well placed to go on to the semis and finals with Slav claiming they are capable of going all the way.

Meanwhile Ashley Fletcher is delighted at the prospect of travelling to his former club.

He tweeted after the draw was made:

  1. I hope Fletcher gets a game up there maybe he and Ayew can be a good partnership, at least we own them, if we send Zaza back as is looking likely that will free up 15M to get a proper right wing back and another CB.
