Former Chelsea man unlikely to join Hammers

|

Reports that West Ham are interested in signing AC Milan Fabio Borini are unlikely to be true!

Calciomercato.com reported last week that West Ham have joined  Napoli in the race to sign the forward. AC Milan have just made the player’s loan move permanent for a fee close to € 6 million but new Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti is said to have has included him in his summer shortlist to strengthen his Napoli squad.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Borini has seemingly made it clear that his future lies in Milan, not London. “My dream is to win a trophy with this shirt, and the Supercoppa (against Juventus) would be an excellent start to more important ones,” the former Chelsea, Liverpool and Sunderland forward said. “Exodus at Milan? For me, certainly not. Generally speaking, I don’t think so. Excuse me but where would I run to? We’re at Milan after all.”
