Foxes dismal record brings Irons smiles

Sam Byram …growing up

Leicester City arrive at the London Stadium tomorrow without a single away win to their name this season and just three points collected on the road.

Ok, that sad record for them is there to be changed but such stats may bring a smile to the face of the Hammers squad knowing that they need to make amends in a big way for the lifeless showing at Bournemouth.

And with a newly shaped midfield ย following the decision by Mark Noble to withdraw, the strong possibility of Andrew Ayew alongside Andy Carroll and Sam Byram dropping into the back four there’s a buzz that the Hammers are all ready to make amends.

Leicester arrive on the back of an aggregate Champions Cup win and were drawn today against Ateletico Madrid in the last eight which could take their eyes off the event at hand.

But interim boss Craig Shakespeare admits that his eyes are solely on the Irons although he is totally baffled by the side’s away form.

City have picked up just three points from 13 away games and only Burnley with two points from 14 games have a worse record.

He said: “It is difficult to put your finger on the away form. I spoke about it after Seville game. We have to try and put it right.

“It is baffling, but we have to be sure we use the confidence and the momentum gained from the last three results to really have a go at West Ham.”

The Foxes have no injury worries.

  1. Anyone who’s supported the team for more than 5 minutes knows that bad form means nothing when you play against West Ham.

Bournemouth hadn’t won all year until they played us.

  2. Yep, if a striker is having a lean spell he searches the fixture list to see when they are playing us. Looking forward to my day out at the LS tomorrow but i’m expecting to be fed up on the way home….I think they will do us, not feeling the Hammers love at the moment, I hope I am wrong and we do them 3-0

  3. We have a dismal record of playing against teams looking to either break Thier duck or turn Thier fortunes around . It’s always as if we are Thier savior in moments of crisis . Fed up with it doesn’t even come close .
4 4 2 for me is the only way to go from here-on-in and untill the end of the season .
If Bilic can’t get it sorted then , maybe it’s time to say adios and thanks .
We have been playing the whole season with players out of position ( ok , injuries didn’t help ) and have been more than lucky to be where we are . This season has seen fortune smile but , next season without some very serious changes could be our last chance to cement our place in the Prem . This season ain’t over yet .
Is it time to extend Bilics contract ?? , to be honest I have doubts .
I remember the same ( no , not the same , exactly ) thing with Alladyce . But the difference is the fans failed to Appreciate him and we ended up with fourth choice Bilic . Ex West ham player and all that goes with it . Are we any better off ?? , NO .we are most definitely not .
It’s very hard for me to compare the old home ; Boleyn with the LS because we never had any great success there either . The years keep rolling by with no great cup runs , silverware or anything to show regardless . You may think Arsenal fans have a right to complain !! , they know nothing about how we feel . Finishing in the top four year after year is a dream for us .
We need a Manager and a squad that can deliver some of our dreams before they fade and die completely .
Getting more than just a bit angry right now , so best leave it .

  4. You are one miserable ****er Kevin.
I think there has been much to smile about today on blogs, highly amusing how some can moan about others having a go about Noble and claiming these “fans” are out of order but at the same time they are the “fans” who carry on attacking the club and owners with impunity most days.
Maybe they are “fans” with extra privileges.
I love these type of “fans” so much. They are the true “fans”..Grrrr.

  5. Hi Swanie
Yes i have been scratching my scone about that in the last few days.I struggle to see how fans can be outraged by things said about Noble but they think DG DS & KB are fair game from them as “fans”.If you are going purely on the abuse given to another human being they are no damned better but seem to think they are.
It is peculiar how they think

  6. Lol lads its always been the same. The ones who call them the d1ldo twins, porn twins, chuckle bros, dumb & dumber are the ones who were up in arms if we called Allardyce Hippo Head,Nolan Nolegs or Carroll The China Doll๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. Now now fellas dont be honest it upsets people when the truth is told.It makes them sensitive.
You know they can say what they want about the club but others cant.

  8. Lol Stanley i was only joking about it,i couldn’t give a sh*t anymore what others think ๐Ÿ˜‚
Its still a valid point though because what i said is true, its out there in web world in black & white. We were told we wasnt ‘proper’ supporters because we didnt back the chairmen or club because we wanted Hippo Head out ๐Ÿ˜
All bloody stupid now so if some special snowflakes dont like i dont give a toss ๐Ÿ˜‚

  9. I know you were joking Radai and trust me it is the best way to be to not give a poo what others think.
There were vast swathes of fans wanted Allardyce out lol
