From now on he’s known as Moysie :-)

MoyesInterview978-768x432Tonight I made a decision ….I’m gonna start calling him Moysie!

God knows what he put in the half time cup of teas – or is it lattes these days 🙂  but I want some – we were amazing over those 45 second half minutes more or less nailing a very good team into their own half for 80 per cent or so of it.

Even Pablo Zabaleta – who had been cruelly exposed time and again in the first half – found new legs and lease of life as the team threw all they had and some at the Foxes.

It was all down to the manager who within a couple of weeks is starting to transform a team of no hopers into a squad which is showing some real pride and passion.

There was no panicky glances from the dug out as we trailed in the first half – just a calm professionalism which inspires inspires players…makes them feeling more comfortable.

And afterwards as he delivered his verdict in front of the cameras, there was a coolness about the man which was truly impressive.

He made a point soon after arriving at the club of raising the Arnie issue and has had a brilliant response from him…tonight too we saw a restrained and far more effective Andy Carroll – that has to be down to the boss.

He’s doing well and many are warming to him…so well done Moysie – as the Devonian fans might say: proper job!

  1. Don’t get carried away. A decent performance from 30 mins after yet another shocker of a goal to concede but we created next to nothing. Don’t get me wrong, Moyes seems to have injected a bit of fight back into them but a little too early to get carried away. Sakho should have come on much earlier for me. With all that possession you’ve got to go for the win in front of the home fans, but what was refreshing was after so much negativity how much the fans got behind the team tonight. Well done lads, hopefully a turning point. COYI.

  2. +1 👍
    Smeagel 😂

  3. Moyes is obviously doing a good job, but wether it’s enough we will soon see. I think he will succeed. It is very refreshing to see him bring the squad back to basics, particularly with defending. Only Ogbonnas mistake in not dealing with a simple clearance, blotted our defence in this game. The rest was a massive improvement.
All the people who grizzled about the watford game should give the management team a chance to do the job. It was never going to be easy or quick.
We play Everton next and we need to get a result, and further inprovement there. I suspect we will.
