Gold gives good news ahead of Watford

Gold3West Ham chairman David Gold has given his 173,000 followers on twitter some good news by suggesting Andy Carroll, Arthur Masuaku, Sam Byram and Andre Ayew will all be available for the Watford game on 25th February.

Gold posted a message on social message to say: “We should be able to put out a strong squad against Watford with Andy Carroll, Arthur Masuaku, Sam Byram and Andre Ayew all returning. dg”

Head of medical science Stijn Vandenbroucke put doubt in fans minds yesterday when he said “Andy is now working towards the Watford game.” which led some to believe Andy Carroll might not be fit for the Watford Premier League match.

After past injuries the Hammers medical team are probably over cautious and pessimistic when it comes to Carroll. Let’s hope Mr Gold’s prognosis and optimism is closer to the truth.

  1. It will be top news to finally have an almost fully fit squad to take to Vicarge Rd.Good to see Masuaka back after such a long time out.Though we havnt really seen enough of him to judge his abilities.I havnt anyway…

  2. There is a write up about Arthur on Till I Die from Iain.It maybe rather over the top praising Masuaku but at the same time i think we have seen so little of him its difficult to assess him as a player either way.Though one of the couch coaches has him written off already.

  3. Optimistic fitness reports? When our players have several days running around kicking a ball, jumping up and down, tackling each other? What could go wrong? Asking for trouble…always look on the dark side of life de dum de dum de dum..
