Gold: ‘Hammers will field a strong team to win!’

jelavic (1)West Ham Chairman David Gold has told West Ham fans that Slaven Bilic will field a strong team tomorrow night to win although he admitted there might be some changes.

Gold told his 123,000 twitter followers “I’m sure there will be a few changes but we will take a strong team to Leicester to WIN dg”

Whatever happens Michel Antonnio and Nikica Jelavic will not be included in tomorrow’s action as both are cup tied.

AntonioAntonio played in the League cup first round for Nottingham Forest scoring two late goals but it was not enough to overcome Walsall who won 4-3 after a 90th minute penalty.

Jelavic also played the first round of the League Cup for Hull City, after he played the first 60 minutes of the draw against Accrington Stanley before being substituted by Chuba Akpom. Hull eventually won the match 4-3 on penalties after drawing 2-2 after extra time. Jelavic took no part in the second round of the league cup when Hull beat Rochdale 1-0 to go through to the third round. Jelavic joined the Hammers just six days later.

  1. Tuesday to the weekend is plenty of time to get over the game anyway,if there are any little niggles the player can be rested,Sakho and Payet,Reid and Cresswell,Noble and Moses possible need the whole game off as they have played so much but that would still
    Leave a strong team
    Randolph
    Jenks,Collins,Henry,Hendrie
    Oxford,Callum
    Samulsun,Carroll,Zarate,Lanzini
Bench Adrien,Tomkins,Moses,Lee,Knoyle and Noble or another
Good side can play same style rest key player give youngsters a start and WIN

  2. Yeah we can still put out a pretty decent side.Really hope we go for the cups this season,we have a squad good enough now to mix & match & still look strong.

  3. Lets go win some silverware, league cup,fa cup, either will do.Maybe we should go for the double.League & fa cup!!!
Ok i was getting a bit carried away there 😉

  4. Decent draw & who knows.Wembley here we come.Love to go back there again.Brilliant day out 😉

  5. We will win tomorrow,im convinced.3-1
Did you enjoy your lecture this morning P45,lol
I log off there when that idiot comes on.Overbearing tw#t.

  6. I know one thing for sure,i wouldnt call a 6ft6in ex-squaddie a sad ****er,bahaha, there again i guess it is easier from the comfort of your own house, lmao

    • Lmao,no not the wisest move. But it is a lot more risk free from in your own house, lol.Would love to see the arsewipe say it to P45s face.I would get a ringside seat to see that kn#b get a smacking.

  7. Haha,water off a ducks back mate.Im a teddy bear really 😉

    • Bloody hell,i thought i was tall at 6ft5in.But im actually a dwarf,lol 😀

      • Then you know what its like to have feet hanging off the end of the bed, lol. We are the Kings of the Light Bulb changers 😀

      • Careful what you say to P45,remember he is a forum **** stirrer Rads wahaha.

        • Ahhh, yes.Intrigue got the better of me earlier & i went to Wetpants for the first time in god knows how long.I aint got anything against the said guy actually. He always seems decent enough.Did make himself look like a plum today.Still, aint my problem.Just lump him one Sam,haha.Im joking btw 😀

  8. As Hendrie and Samuelson play in tonight’s development squad match, I would predict a pretty strong line up like following:

    Randolph
    Jenkinson Oxford Collins Cresswell
    Cullen Obiang
    Lanzini Zarate Moses
    Carroll

  9. Be interested to see who plays for the Development side tonight.
This would be a good gage to see who of the youngsters might be in the squad.

  10. Spiegel, Knoyle, Hendrie, Dobson, Chambers, Onariase, Parfitt-Williams, Browne, Brown, Samuelsen, Antonio
Subs: Nasha, T.Brown (GK), Page, Pask, Belic

No Cullen, Lee,and Oxford. Thus expect them to be on the bench at least.

    • Yeah i had a peek at the dev team.Looks like at least Cullen,Oxford & Lee will be playing some part tomorrow night.Which i guess we all suspected would be the case 😉

  11. Hendrie and knoyle playing for development team. Shame because I feel jenks and cress need a rest. the city game took a lot out of our boys especially the defenders. I would play Carroll jelavic Randolph zarate Collins Oxford Cullen … In fact I would play a completely different eleven to the team that played city. Still a strong team with internationals in it and how else are these players going to get a chance to show what they can do and prove they’re worthy of a place in the first team?

  12. Jelavic cup tied,
    Henry not playing tonight
Expect Cullen,Oxford Henry,Zarate,Carrol,Collins,Randolph plus 4 others to start,
    Who knows ?

  13. Forgot About Henry. Be good to see Henry get a game. Would like to see Hendrie play left back but he played for development team tonight didn’t he?
