Gold on the mend

West-Ham-United-co-owner-David-GoldDavid Gold has told Twitter followers that he is recovering after being admitted to hospital.

The co chairman missed the game against Manchester City and vice chairman Karren Brady then reported on Twitter he had  been admitted.

But talking to a follower on Twitter who wished him well despite “differences” on occasions Gold replied: “Yes we have our differences but we both have our clubs best interest at heart.

“I’m on the mend but I thank for your best wishes. dg”

The co chairman spent a lengthy spell in hospital with pneumonia back in 2013 but told ClaretandHugh: “I’m not too bad and recovering. I hope to be at the Palace game but we will see how things go.
