Gold’s rallying call ahead of Hull game

|

Get in my son!

David Gold has warned the Irons players they will need to be at their “very best” when tthey meet a Hull team totally on form at home over recent games.

But the co chairman  expects the team to give a big response after recent setbacks saying: “Despite injuries we have a very talented squad and can bring something away from this.

He told ClaretandHugh: “It’s misleading to look at the league table and imagine this will be straightforward. It won’t because they are unbeaten in seven games at home with wins over Manchester United and Liverpool to their names.

“They have a lot riding on a game like this one but so have we and despite the injuries we can put out a strong team and are fully capable of getting something tomorrow afternoon.

“Our away form is not bad and everybody knows there’s an awful lot riding on the game so it should be a very exciting game of football.”
