Hammers 0 Everton 0 – how the fans saw it!

|

At last something to celebrate – just a point that probably could and should have been three – here’s how the Irons fans saw the game on ClaretandHugh’s Facebook forum @https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/

nort
We were solid and well organised and looked the only team who would re going to win the match, excellent point .now let’s get the job done at stoke next week
O Swansea gotta win 3 of their last 4 to go above us…!!
O Thought Nordtveit had a really good game today…..in his favoured position !
O Decent match today especially defensively.
O Agree, but sure the ‘Gloom & Doom Brigade’ will manage to dig up something!
O Clean sheet , a point , kept one of the top scorers in the country quiet.
O Strong defensive display, Masuaku was MOTM for me, Lanzini and Koyate were quality, Ginge was all heart, Fonte was decent and Nordvelt had his best game to date for us. Lukaku was not in it today, happy with the point

At last , finally , something to celebrate a bit . It was a vital point and even more remarkable considering our past home performances . Showed a lot of grit today , so , well done you Hammers . I do find it annoying though to be reading so many sports writers saying how bad Everton played with very few good words to say about West Ham . We got stuck in and snuffed them out , including Fluky Luky . We are very nearly safe and with another point or two it won’t matter what Swansea or Hull do . Bilic got it right today and Koeman got it wrong .
    COYHAMMERS .

Nordtveit was in danger of being branded alongside Zaza and Tore (and Feghouli?) as a dead loss but he was a revelation yesterday playing in what is obviously his correct position. Bilic has done him no fovours this Season continually playing him out of position – one of too many mistakes that he has made this year.

Another thing learnt from yesterday was that Calleri is useless – slow, lacking control, no enthusiasm, giving up too easily – just hopeless!
