West Ham could spend up to £209m on the seven new incoming players this summer over the next five years. That is the incredible estimate when taking into account transfer, add-ons, signing on and agents fees together with wages and bonuses over the life of each players contract.

  1. surely we don’t have enough room with FFP to up our weage bill by 40m a year?

  2. The seven signings will cost £26m per year but we are saving £14m from last season so net increase of around £12m per year http://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-to-save-16m-in-wages/

We spend around £105m last season so expecting to have a bill of around £120m this season. FFP is covered as per my article yesterday http://www.claretandhugh.info/what-happened-to-financial-fair-play/

  3. We also might lose Antonio, Snodgrass, Carroll which would amount to 85k + 70k + is it £65k a week Snodgrass is on and whatever Huggill earns per week ? If we can get £25m for Antonio might offset the losses that the others will generate.

  4. I hate to say it, but I still think the club is light on numbers. We’ll be starting the season with 3 senior players injured for a number of months, we have a number of PL2 players, that should have made the grade by now and haven’t and I suspect we’ll see 3 or 4 senior players leave.

  5. Snodgrass hugill koy obiang fernandes Byron cresswell Carroll Reid let’s be honest if all sold we wouldn’t really miss them and pelle will begin his complete overhaul
