Hammers keep eye on wanted duo

|

West Ham are set to swoop for Fulham’s right back Ryan Fredericks in the summer.

The Hammers boss David Moyes remains uncertain of Sam Byram and made his interest known in Fredericks during the January window believing a deal could be done given he is out of contract in the summer.

But Fulham are still trying to sort out an extension to his present contract and turned down all Hammers interest for the 25 year old.

And Moyes looks certain to try making it a double swoop on the Championship outfit by again moving for midfielder Tom Cairney who was at the centre of big interest from the Hammers in the summer.

However, with the Cottagers battling for promotion and now holding fifth place there was never any chance of the south west London team letting him leave.

Moyes, however, is determined to bring in at least one strong midfielder and Cairney will be very high on his list come the end of the season despite the player having a contract for a further three years.
