Hammers linked to Colombian striker

Image result for luis muriel sampdoria

West Ham are tonight being reported as having made a £23million for Sampdoria’s Columbian striker Luis Muriel.

TuttoMercatoWeb – an Italian newsite – say the Hammers are looking to hijack Sevilla’s move for the 26-year-old, after it was reported the clubs had agreed to a £17 million deal and that personal terms had been been settled.

However, TMW now claim that the talks have stalled over recent days, and that the player’s future remains uncertain and that the Irons are in the chase and have triggered the release clause in his contract.

Muriel scored 13 goals in 33 appearances last season taking his total for the club to 24 strikes in 84 appearances, while making 20 assists.

The 15 times capped 26 year old Colombian international can play as an out and out striker  or on either flank.

  1. Matte is on the case doing the negotiations in sullys absence 🙂 he loves a Columbian figa 🙂 🙂

  2. Decent striker but not prolific scorer good at assists. For the same price as Kelechi who has premier league experience and 21 goals in 46 apps. A goal every 96 mins had 8 assists this season not sure last season but in Double digits all together. While Luis as 24 goals in 84 apps. Doesn’t make sense to me. Bilic just doesn’t seem to like anyone under 23. But has said wants premier experience. His assists are great and shows he would actually be good in front 2 or playing behind.
But they want a goal scorer so I don’t see the logic in this move.

  3. So now its a Columbian what next Carlton Cole ….lol

  4. Not a lot of goals but quite a few assists, so it seems he has been used a lot out wide ( similar to Valencia ) At £23 mil he needs to be damn good

  5. Does Bilic know!?

  6. Dont know much about the geezer, only seen him a couple of times so couldnt say whether he is good or bad.

  7. Let me get this right. Iheanacho isn’t good enough. But this guy is?
Who is trying to fool who?
    Never in a million years.

  8. Luis is coming he opted against coming to London and chose to go to Sevilla for an undisclosed fee.
So looks like Chicharito is our best option just have to get to him before Chelsea’
