Hammers official statement on Little Pea

Javier-Hernandez-007The Hammers official site has just announced officially that Javier Hernandez and the club have agreed terms for his switch to the London Stadium.

And they confirm that “the former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker will fly to London in the coming days to finalise personal terms and undergo a medical with the Hammers.”

Hernandez, 29, affectionately known as ‘Chicharito’ across the globe, became Mexico’s all-time leading goalscorer in May this year.

It confirms our report and later stories from the media at large that the Hammers most wanted target has been landed by co chairman David Sullivan.

And with Joe Hart arriving on loan yesterday the mood in the London Stadium right now is one of huge appreciation for the work he has put in to landing two of the biggest names available this summer.

    Sunday Morning God slot.

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me Javier Hernandez?
My friends have Kane and Costa, I must make amends.
Supported all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So Lord, won’t you buy me

    THANK YOU GOD.

  2. No denying a decent striker – just concerned by reports he wasn’t a popular player with his team mates in Germany. Knowing Bilic likes a closeness within his squad, let’s hope it was just a blip.

    • Haven’t read that will have to look it up maybe language issue.seems a nice bloke and was loved at Man U and his loved hugely by country.
And they gave him a nice farewell video, Marko didn’t get anything… He just posted London conimng on instagram. Think henis using Us for a move to the capital and Money oh well.
I like Chicharito and think he will do very well. I hope all pur new signings do.

  3. Strange to announce it before the dotted line is signed. Let’s hope it is.

  4. Looking forward to seeing Javier photographed with the shirt
