Hammers sweat it out on Valencia

ValenciaactionWest Ham have just revealed to ClaretandHugh that Enner Valencia’s scan will be carried out later this afternoon.

Slaven Bilic admitted this morning that things didn’t look to good for the striker but premature reports have been circulating that the player has twisted a knee and would be about for three months.

Irons sources were quick to declare that until the scan is carried out there can be no certainty about anything at this stage.

We were told: “There’s still no definite news on Enner and we are all sweating it out a bit as the scan won’t be conducted until later this afternoon.” (Fri)

  1. What a shame for the lad. Get his first goal of the season (I think) then gets stretchered off. I do hope for Enner that this is not as bad as it looked as this is a big season for him and to be out for a spell makes it even harder. At least Andy will have some company in the Physio room.

  2. I hope he is ok and fit for the beginning of the premier, but at least this has highlighted the need for another quality forward,
    Great goal .

  3. Fingers crossed big time, didnt look too good though at the time 🙁

  4. OS just announced … looks like a major knee injury. Valencia is meeting with an expert on Monday and they won’t know more until then.
