Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has admitted “there is something in it” as the worst kept secret of the summer transfer window draws ever closer.

Fabianski is set to become Manuel Pellegrini’s second summer signing after the arrival of Ryan Fredericks but the Hammers are still looking for a second stopper with Jack Butland a target.

ClaretandHugh revealed two weeks ago that the Polish international was on his way to the club at a fee of around £7 million  and  speaking to Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy ‘Fab’ more or less revealed the deal was on.

He said: “Let’s wait for a while, but I will not lie, there is something in it.

“My club matters are crystallizing right now, but I do not know when everything will be clear. I am waiting patiently.”

The Pole made 38 appearances for relegated Swansea last season and kept eight clean sheets for the side last campaign. He has made more than 150 appearances for the Welsh side since joining them from Arsenal in 2014.
