Haunting message hits the Hammers

Image result for Gary Neville

Some well chosen words from Gary Neville will continue to haunt West Ham as this season of despair goes on and on.

For he claims that the Irons, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers all have something in common.

is after match comments went like this: “That was woeful from West Ham (and) when I think back, (I think) of Sunderland last year, fans walking out of the ground,”

“I think of that QPR team from four or five years ago who were a disgrace, I think of what I’ve seen here tonight (West Ham losing to Brighton)… there aren’t many times when you can think of that, where there’s that disconnect where the fans just walk out en masse and that’s a real problem when fans walk out I think because that’s what owners look at, but I hope he stays Slaven Bilic.”

Neville is a  bright cookie and there’s much in what he says but however you want to cut it results on the pitch are down to the manager.

The board can be blamed for keeping him going at the end of last season at a time when many were calling for his departure.

They can be blamed for not investing enough and they can be blamed for not foreseeing and dealing with a three away matches start to the season.

What they can’t be blamed for are the horrendous performances, lack of energy and constant chopping and changing of formation and personnel.

Nor can they be blamed for a post match interview on Sky in whch he claimed not to know the probelms with the team – if they don’t get rid now they can and will be blamed …there can be no argument about that.

One issue with Neville: How after all that can he hope Bilic remains!?

  1. All this from a severely bad manager at Valencia who is a manc and is without a doubt a west ham hater and thinks he is gods gift to football and know all fekall , if there’s an excuse for hating someone then this is the one for me, c### 😈 he may be right on all his banter , but believe you me its all said in malice , the proof is the thick manc gives it all away by putting the boot in indirectly at bilic and then says I hope he stays 😂😂 what a piece of 💩

  2. Easy answer to your question Hugh! Gary Neville is a good pundit who talks a lot of sense, but he is also a sacked manager. The pundits on Sky queued up at the end of last season to defend Ranieri & slate Leicester for sacking him. What was the point they all said. It would be the same players Result? Leicester start winning & survive. It is very rare that any of the pundits, even the ones who have not been sacked, say yes it’s time for him to go. Totally illogical. Yes managers should be given a reasonable time to show what they can do & Bilic has had that. Credit to the owners for giving him time, but it is as big an error to harm your club by delaying too long as it is to act too soon.

  3. Well Koeman has been sacked so he can come to us and Bilic can go to Everton….

  4. Sorry Gary who?
This is a person who had a go as a manager and failed was co owner of that great football club Salford City (sorry Salford) and has a twin brother who clearly holds the two brain cells they have between them!
The man is a tit, if its not a story about Moan Utd then its not a story!
He loves to knock a team when they are down its the easy way, first Crystal Palace then Everton, now West Ham…..change the record you northern ****.
