HC Vlog: Legend Marlon tries to make sense of it all

It’s  been a day long inquest – following the worst defeat and display of the season at the London Stadium.

And trying to make some sense of it all is the legend that is Marlon Harewood who joined our partners Gonzo and Geo on the Hammers Chat barge following the nightmare.

Marlon – one of our favourite Hammers – made 142 appearances scoring 47 goals alonng the way including THAT FA Cup semi final winner against Middlesborough in 2005-06.

He was quoted at the time as saying: “I can’t really describe how I felt at the time; you can’t put something like that into words, it’s a chapter in my career that I have dreamed about doing since I was a little kid.

“After making the big step-up from Nottingham Forest to West Ham, I knew I had to work hard if I wanted to get to where the top strikers in the country were.”

He collected an FA Cup runners-up medal with West Ham that season and was the club’s top Premier League goalscorer with 14 goals.

That was the high…yesterday was the low and Marlon attempts to tell the Hammers Chat boys why!
